Your hosting is managed in this control panel. Everything you see here – websites, e-mail, DNS, databases and files – belongs to a subscription: one hosting plan with a main domain, for example example.dk.
Signing in
- Open the panel at https://my.ge4.dk.
- Sign in with the e-mail address and password from your welcome e-mail. If you got a link to choose a password, use that first; the link works for 24 hours.
- Forgot your password? Choose Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and we e-mail you a new link.
Turn on two-factor authentication under Profile and security. It protects your websites and e-mail even if your password leaks. See Your account.
Finding your way around
After signing in you see My hosting with your subscriptions. Click a subscription to manage it. Each subscription has these pages:
| Page | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Websites | Add domains, choose PHP version, switch on HTTPS. Read more |
| WordPress | Install WordPress and keep it updated. Read more |
| DNS | Edit the DNS records of your domains. Read more |
| Create mailboxes and forwarding, find the settings for your mail program. Read more | |
| Databases | Create MariaDB databases and users, open the database admin tool. Read more |
| Files | Browse, edit, upload and download files in the browser. Read more |
| SFTP / FTP | Logins for FileZilla and other programs. Read more |
| Cron jobs | Run scripts on a schedule. Read more |
| Backups | See nightly backups and restore files or databases. Read more |
| Statistics | Visitors, popular pages and disk use. Read more |
| Activity | Every change and whether it has been applied. |
Some pages may be missing if your plan does not include them, or if your login only has access to part of the subscription.
Changes take a moment
When you create a mailbox, add a domain or change a setting, the panel sends the change to our servers in the background. You see a green message such as "The change is being applied". Most changes are done within a few seconds. The Activity page shows each step and whether it succeeded. If something fails, the panel tries again by itself; if it keeps failing, contact us.
Limits of your plan
The numbers at the top of each page, such as "3 of 10", show how much of your plan you use. The disk meter at the top of the subscription shows your storage. If you need more, contact us about a bigger plan.
